Honor announced as official series partner of the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup

Beijing, August 30, 2018 – The Chinese smartphone e-brand Honor has been announced as an official series partner of the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup effective immediately and continuing on into the 2019 season. The partnership was announced at the official product launch event for Honor’s new mobile phone, Honor Play, in Berlin earlier today.

“Honor is an ideal partner for the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup, as both brands are built on the highest principles of design, performance, speed and technology,” said Martin Kuehl, Director of Audi Sport customer racing Asia. “I would like to warmly welcome Honor to the Audi Sport family.”

Honor is a leading smartphone e-brand under the Huawei Group. In line with its slogan, “For the Brave”, the brand was created to meet the needs of digital natives through internet-optimized products that offer superior user experiences, inspire action, foster creativity and empower the young to achieve their dreams.

Showcasing the speed and performance of both brands, the Honor logo will be emblazoned on Audi R8 LMS race cars in the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup as well as in other racing series all over Asia.

The Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup is operated by Audi Sport customer racing Asia.
